Vases by Guido Gambone Italy Early 1950s These two Gambone pieces are not a matched pair, but are shown together as they have marked similarities. The eggplant glaze, the bulbous form, and the fantastic archaic decoration ensure that they look very well as a pair. Each was originally a lamp-base, but display perfectly as vases. They are available individually, or as a pair. The "Horse and Rider" vase measures 11.5" x 9" (29cm x 23cm); the "Predator and Prey" vase is a bit larger at 12" x 9.5" (30.4cm x 24cm).
